WHY DO BOILERS AND FIRES NEED ANNUAL SERVICING
For the safety of you and your family.
Gas appliances are perfectly safe when they are serviced and maintained, but potentially
lethal when not.
For the sake of an hour you can relax in the knowledge that for another year you are safe and that your appliances are working efficiently.

WHY CAN'T I HAVE A CEILING FAN ?
Ceiling fans or re-circulating fans as well as extractor fans when turned on disturb the air movement in a room this can have a dramatic effect on conventional appliances(that is appliances that draw air from the room to combust)the fans can create a positive or negative force which can pull products of combustion back into the room this is known as spillage, this makes the appliance I.D.(immediately dangerous)and we have a duty to make the situation safe.
Sometimes if the area of the room is big enough and there is sufficient air ventilation the fans have no detrimental effect and can stay in place
|
MY NEIGHBOUR BLOCKS HER VENT IS IT DANGEROUS ?
YES VERY MUCH SO
Conventional appliances need the right amount of air for complete combustion keeping them working safely. When vents are blocked the appliance uses the air in the room once this is depleted the appliance will start to spill carbon monoxide.

DO YOUR ENGINEERS CARRY ID CARDS ?
All our engineers must wear and present their ID cards.
They have a TDBC ID card & our gas engineers also carry a Gas Safe card these should be worn around their neck on a TDBC lanyard.
We know our customers are trusting people but we do encourage you to ask for ID and help cut out the fraudsters that prey particularly on our elderly community
